Saygood helps you practice languages by having text and voice conversations with AI partners. This policy explains what we collect and why. It covers both the Saygood app and this website, saygood.ai.
If you enter your email address into the "notify me at launch" form on saygood.ai, here is exactly what happens to it. We store your email address, the time you submitted it, which page of the site you submitted it from, the referring URL your browser sent, and the two-letter country code Cloudflare derives from your connection. We also briefly store your IP address — for one hour, purely to stop one machine submitting the form thousands of times — after which it is deleted automatically.
We use that address for one email: a message telling you Saygood is available, sent once, when it is. We are not running a newsletter off this list, we will not sell or share it, and it is not connected to any advertising. Submitting the form does not create an account.
If you would like to be taken off the list before we send anything — or after — email [email protected] and we will delete your address. There is also an unsubscribe link in the launch email itself.
Beyond that form, this website sets no advertising or analytics cookies and does not track you across other sites.
These providers process data only to deliver the service.
To run your conversations, sync your data if you sign in, manage your subscription, and keep the app secure.
Email. If you have an account we may email you about Saygood — new features, tips for getting more out of it, and offers on paid plans — alongside the service messages we have to send (receipts, security notices). Every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe, and unsubscribing never affects your account. You can also ask us to stop at any time at [email protected].
We do not sell your personal data, we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers, and we do not use it to track you across other companies' apps and websites. Your email address is used by us, to email you.
Texting and voice notes with your partners work without an account; live calls require you to sign in, so we can apply your plan's calling limits to you rather than to your device. Settings → Delete account permanently erases your synced data and your email address from our servers, along with your data on the device, and removes you from any mailing list. You may request access or deletion at any time by emailing us. To stop marketing email without deleting your account, use the unsubscribe link in any such email.
On-device data lives until you delete it or uninstall; synced data lives until you delete your account. Call audio is not retained after the call. Problem reports (and any transcript you chose to attach to one) are deleted automatically after 90 days. Waitlist email addresses are kept until we have sent the launch email and for a short period afterwards to handle replies, or until you ask us to delete yours — whichever comes first; the IP address used for rate-limiting the form is deleted after one hour.
Saygood is for users 17+. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Data in transit is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). No method is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Depending on where you live (e.g., California/CCPA, EU/UK GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise them.
We'll update this page and the effective date when this policy changes.
